Why We Choose PET

Why We Choose PET

What is PET?
Of any alternative packaging solution, PET (a recyclable plastic) has the lowest carbon footprint and produces the least CO2 and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. It’s a safe, hygienic material which protects and preserves the water within.

PET is easily recyclable plastic – even more so than glass – meaning your bottle will come back to life as a whole new bottle when you no longer have a need for it.

PET is recognized globally as a safe packaging material for a wide variety of food products. It’s shatterproof, reusable and 100% recyclable back into PET products including bottles.
In our view, it makes sense from both an environmental and economic perspective to reuse the materials so that they don’t head to the landfill, to live on earth forever as single-use plastic.

With this in mind, we have designed and created a unique PET bottle, paying special attention to the materials used. The result is a beautiful, reusable bottle that maximizes value and eliminates waste. To close the loop and work towards a ZeroPET future, we’ve partnered with Recycle 1st to collect 2,5 million plastic bottles per year by removing 2 plastic bottles for every one we sell. This equates to 50 tons of PET per year!

Naturally sourced water has one of the lowest carbon footprints than any beverage, and we want our packaging to reflect that.
