SOS are involved with a new PARKS Upgrade Project with the City – whereby they are trying to clear/clean & recover the original park spaces that were assigned as play areas for the Bloekombos children. Unfortunately, practically all of these social spaces have now been land reclaimed by the residents, who have built shanty dwellings there and those that haven’t have been left to decay & filled with rubbish.
Neighbourhood clean up – we will be encouraging all residents in the area to engage in a community clean-up of the area around the park
